11 days to go before Accessorize's "All About Bags Sale" Ends

5:45 AM

Ever since I started blogging, all I ever wanted was to express myself and write about my thoughts, feelings and favorite things. No holds barred, I used to strongly share my opinions on politics and general views on society. Until one day, I got invited to my first event as a blogger. And what followed was a series of fortunate events since then (but the pay off was my lack of time to write sincere political commentaries anymore).

Events in itself are no big deal for me. But what makes me enjoy attending several occasions is the experience of meeting a lot of new people that I wouldn't have met if I didn't start blogging. Random fashionable strangers have become my friendly acquaintances and some of them eventually turned into really, good friends.

Then, another turn in my blogging life has come my way and I've been given a chance to be directly involved in the first blogger event that we co-organized (hands-on) (with Aisa and Ana for Bloggers United X Accessorize partnership.

Before I continue this catching up, I've been meaning to blog for the past few days but you all know how preoccupied I am  this past week because of Bloggers United tasks/errands. I just want to say, I missed you all! Sana you missed me too diba. LOL.

Going back, Accessorize, a trendy London-based accessory retail store, and one of our co-presenters for the upcoming Bloggers United bazaar, decided to work with us in launching its biggest promo of the year: All About Bags Sale! (From October 31 - November 30). In this event, an intimate pool of vibrant female bloggers were invited to Persia Grill in SM North Edsa, to introduce them to the brand's latest promo and holiday collection.

The All About Bags Sale is a thanksgiving sale to all of Accessorize's very supportive clients for the past 3 years here in the country. Discounts are as much as 50% off and it includes all bags - old stocks and most of all, new arrivals!

Union Jack cupcakes and chocolate chip cookies were served to the bloggers before dinner
Love the print of the table cloths

It was my first time hosting a blogger event apart from my stint during the bloggers bazaar. I'm not going to deny it, I have secret, suppressed dreams of becoming the next Bianca Valerio. Haha. LOL. Ana assisted me all throughout the program, taking charge of games, prizes and coordination with the bloggers.

Everyone had a LOT of fun! It was like a children's party for grown-up fashionistas with silly games yet awesome prizes from Accessorize

Angel's face really says game on! Wow competitive! Haha
Krista, what's so funny? LOL
A mini styling challenge was held wherein each blogger would choose a bag design and style it using the brand's accessories.

After that, a surprise runway walk contest was held and everyone just kept on laughing and goofing around.

Of course! Hindi kami papakabog ni Ana!
Hey, all of us missed the last day of Philippine Fashion Week but I can really feel and see that everyone was genuinely happy. It was such a fulfilling feeling (what a tongue twister! haha), hearing compliments of how bloggers felt closer to each other because such a small crowd was allowed to bond very well.

We made a lot of girls happy that night! Everyone got to take home their bag of choice! Including us!! Ang saya lang!
