It's interesting how the competition between mobile broadbands has gotten tougher.

Over the weekend, I couldn't believe I flew all the way to Boracay together with fellow bloggers from various fields, magazine editors, TV and print journalists, models and celebrities to participate in Tattoo's beach activities and witness the  LiveTattoo.ph grand launch.

According to Dong Ronquillo, head of Tattoo, introducing LiveTattoo.ph means it's time to move on from the topic of which mobile broadband is cheaper or faster. LiveTattoo.ph offers you exclusive downloads and subscriptions to over 50 partner websites and businesses such as games, music, tools and utilities, magazine and newspaper subscriptions, free surfing, discounts and added values on purchases.

You can surf the site for free - no load deduction for prepaid, just keep a maintaining balance of P5.00, and no charge to bill for postpaid. Make sure you sign-up first using your Tattoo Prepaid, Postpaid number or Tattoo@Home account number to access the site.

I have to say, the whole idea is impressive. From just a mere internet connection, your Tattoo subscription now serves like a "membership" similar to what they have at gyms, resorts or exclusive clubs and establishments. However, in an effort to be more critical about what I blog, and veer away from praise releases, I'll try to visit the site first, make sure I claim my freebies, get to experience the so-called Tattoo lifestyle and give a follow-up review on this new feature LiveTattoo.ph has to offer. 

Nevertheless, I can't deny that I was quite thrilled upon hearing that some of the freebies include free magazine subscriptions, Multiply.com and Pisobid discounts, Buy 1 Take 1 on Air Philippines tickets, 50% on Ayala Cinemas and free surfing (as in no charge) to sites like stylebible.ph, lookbook.nu, rottentomatoes.com, clickthecity.com and a few others. Overall, the launching of  LiveTattoo.ph in Boracay was a very successful one and I'd love to see how this novel feature would change the name of the game between mobile (broadband) networks.
