In behalf of the Bloggers United team, thank you!

2:03 PM

Really, I cried. Tears of joy, actually.

For the past week after the most-awaited Bloggers United Bazaar (Part 2), I've been incredibly overwhelmed with all the positive feedback that our team (with my partners Ana and Aisa) has been receiving from all of you.  We are very much aware that the event wasn't perfect (we still have a lot to improve on) and all of us were really anxious and at the same time excited to hear what you have to say.

Unofficial count from our registration team said around 2,000 people went to the event! Wow!
But so far, everyone has said kind words and has been very generous in their compliments (been reading all your blog posts!), making our hearts flooded with so much joy. I would really like to say "Thank You!" nang sobra-sobra, nang bonggang-bongga to God and to everyone! To our sponsors, the participating bloggers, and the guests, maraming, maraming salamat!

A lot of other people have continuously showered us with thanks and praises. Pero sa totoo lang (the truth is) si God ang dapat naming pasalamatan talaga (it is God that we really have to say thank you to). Yes, we've worked so hard in organizing this. However, without His grace, and without all of your support, the effort we've put in this endeavor wouldn't matter.

Last year, Bloggers United was just a great idea. But this 2011, AisaAna and I have made it happen (not once but twice!). And again, I wouldn't dare take all the credit because all your support have helped us in this accomplishment. I feel deeply grateful and blessed and wala na akong ibang magsasabi (I have nothing more to say) but again thank you!

Now moving on to the event...

To those who missed the grand yard sale of Manila's fashion blogging community, I hate to say this but you really did passed out on a big opportunity to:

1) Score cheap, stylish and one-of-a-kind fashion items.

GMA Kapuso Foundation, the beneficiary of our event also had a booth space wherein they sold local celebrity items in unbelievably low prices!

2) Win amazing and overflowing prizes.
We gave away soo many prizes I swear! Like I always say, no one goes home from our bazaar empty-handed because when you win all the other items that we are giving away, it's as good as shopping!

Bloggers United's event partner, Multiply Philippines gave away as much as P50,000 worth of GCs! All the online shopping money given was valid at the event only!

One of our media co-presenters, Gadgets Magazine gave away free cellphones! Nakakaloka! We asked the audience to bring in the oldest mobile phone on stage and we will replace it with a new one. Isn't that awesome?!

All the other prizes are too many to mention but to give you a recap, we gave away GCs from PrimadonnaAccessorizeNail ItFerrettiLapdanceManelsPosh NailsFlattering TopsPosh Pocket ShoesAsian VogueYabu and My House Husband movie premiere tickets.

I had a great time hosting the event with Gelo Arucan! :)
We also raffled Nikon camera lens tumblers, Accessorize clutch bags, Lorys hair products, Giordano body butter and shower gels, Tomato watches and planners, 80ml bottles of Nina Ricci perfumes, Mango bags courtesy of RCBC BankardNivea and Rio Mints gift packs, Oishi snacks, Sole Sister bags, Belle York and Sparkle Shop apparels and Maris accessories.

Love Chic's Seph and Shai won GCs and Giordano shower gel.

As you can see, we had so many prizes in one giveaway!

3) Meet and mingle with your fellow bloggers!

4) Enjoy entertaining segments!

We had a Rio Mints runway walk challenge, a Ferretti style debate, a Nina Ricci (Sunday Girl) karaoke sing-off contest and an open mic night that started at 7PM! The very talented bloggers who performed are Paul ChuapocoTracy AysonReese Lansangan (Reese and Vica) and Raleene w/ her sister for Walkie Talkies!

Almost everyone stopped what they were doing just to watch the Walkie Talkies. They are really amazing! This video doesn't justify how good their live performance is!

Again, thank you so much for supporting Bloggers United Bazaar (Part 2)! See you again at the next one! Once again, thank you to all our sponsors!
