The best way to spend the first day of September was to take a break from work and school by attending the Prive Fashion Series event, featuring Glitterati held at the Members Only Club at The Fort. It was a mini fashion show and party presented by Mega Magazine and Stylebible.ph.

Glitterati owners Nina Estacio and JL Ladrido finally reaped the fruits of their hard work by going beyond doing their business online to opening an actual store of their own in Bel-Air 3 Makati, and formally launching their Luxe Collection.

The Glitterati event was such a huge success! The place was jampacked!

The brand was enormously supported especially by the Manila fashion blogging community. The presence of bloggers in the event was massive! I was almost blinded, seeing all the style stars of the online world congested in one place. Even Glitterati’s chosen muses for their luxe line were a powerhouse; featuring famous blog personalities, professional models and celebrities. Some of them were Kookie Buhain of Death by Platforms, Tricia Gosingtian of Tricia Will Go Places, Chictopia style icon Lissa Kahayon, fashion writer Dominic Tiu of Konichiwear, Miss Philippines-Earth 2009 Sandra Seifert, Q-TV 11 host Ysa Villar, model and beauty queen Maggie Wilson, and many more.

Aside from the showcase of sophisticated clothes and accessories from Glitterati, what I loved most about the whole event was meeting all the fabulous bloggers in the flesh. It was surreal seeing them in person and truly, there's more to them apart from what they share about themselves online. Everyone was incredibly friendly, nice and sweet.

It was overwhelming to meet one of my most favorite bloggers, Denise of Denise Katipunera. It was such an honor for me since she was my very first inspiration when I started blogging. She had this very positive aura and when she saw me, she immediately smiled and said hello and was very much willing to take photos. Thank God I was able to catch her before she left.

Meanwhile, thanks to Ana, we got to know and bond more with Ava of Artsy Fartsy Ava. We were with her all-throughout, until the end. Her boyfriend accompanied her and they were such a cute couple; as cute as Aisa and Mich!

Another extremely nice and humble blogger that I met was Kookie of Death by Platforms. Even though she was really popular among the crowd and was friends with almost everybody, she still took time to hang out with us. My gosh, she's drop dead gorgeous!

Bestie of The Capricious Club definitely stood out as the only boho babe of the night. She came with her friends but that didn't stop her from spending time with us. She like my belt daw; aaw thanks girl *grin*!

Chictopia style icon Lissa Kahayon was too busy being the model but managed to squeeze in some snaps with us. She left early though. Her outfit was one of my most faved among all the items in the collection.

Met Tin of Fashion Ate the World again (for the second time) with her fantabulous crowd - Mikey of Toxic Disco Boy and Karl of Totally Inkarlcerating. May I just say that Mikey is just beautiful! I was surprised because I find him to have stronger facial features on photos but in person, he has such a soft face and cute round eyes. I love his ferocious necklace! Like Mike, Karl banked on statement necklaces to complete his simple white polo top and pants. He was in full bangle and ring gear. Such powerful fashionistas!

Like Ana, I'm not the club type of girl but I enjoyed the meet-and-greet with all these bloggers! I also met Arianne and Bea of A plus B in the Sea but we have no photos :(. Well there's always a next time!

A big congratulations to the success of Glitterati! Congrats Nina and JL! I hope to attend more events like this in the near future. Weee!
