Unproductive.
For some weird reason, this week happened to swiftly pass by without me really accomplishing anything major. I’m on my “thesis mode” but writer’s block is getting the best of me. My research paper – the most crucial thing that will get my ass off college is in very slow progress. Well at least it’s not non-existent anymore right? Hmmm.
Knowing myself very well, my mind works best during crunch time. Or… am I just sugar-coating the fact that I’m such a crammer? Gaagh. It’s been a long time habit that I’ve been really (promise, I swear) trying to kick out of my system.
When I look at it, I seem to have ample of time to finish it. But again, I’m in doubt because being the one who knows myself best, I know how sluggish I work that’s why as much as possible, attempt to finish a job as early as I could.
Demeulemeester -inspired DIY neckpiece or scarf
Since I haven’t finished my first draft yet, I pledged not to shop or do anything that will distract me until the day I finish. So far, it’s been good. I’m proud that I can actually discipline myself, control my thrifting/shopping urges, and be able to just say a big fat “NO” to all gimmick invitations. Yey to me!
Maybe, because I’ve been such a good girl, I’ve been rewarded with buyers from my online shop and a giveaway! I’m currently having a SALE and only a few items are left. I posted the remaining items on this blog’s SHOP PAGE but if you wish to see more, you can check out the official website.
For my prize, drum roll please... For the first time in my blogging life, after a couple of entries to some blog freebie contests here and there, I finally got something! It's a floral dress with ruched shoulder sleeves and bow details at the back from Chevy Mae of Candy Maybe. It was really unexpected though I knew luck in on my side! I would always win parlor games during parties and was (a lot of times) drawn during raffle promos in school so I knew I'm a very lucky person. I haven't won anything big yet but soon I will! Hahaha! I haven't received the dress yet, but she promised to ship either yesterday or today, so I can wait till Monday.

Well I don’t have a sponsor unlike other “big time” blogs; and I am ultimately frugal to spend on anything… so I hope you don’t mind if I bring in a thrift item on to the table (Do you mind?? :( ). But because I’m on shopping hiatus, I pray that I finish my draft ASAP so I could work on thrift hunting and I promise to bring you that fabulous vintage item. I’m still thinking about opening it to international readers though. As much as I would like to, I don’t want to spend on international shipping rates because I’m poor like that, haha.
If any Filipino reader out here knows a cheap and efficient way of shipping items abroad, please tell me so I know how this process goes.
Statement pieces: necklace-scarf and animal-print wedges
On an outfit related note, I’m wearing an animal print see-through tunic and black sheer leggings. Again, I’m wearing my Demeulemeester-inspired DIY neckpiece or scarf (whatever it is). To break the black-gray color block, I wore my cute, animal print, brown and flesh peep-toe wedges with a cute ribbon detail. Over all, the outfit is just simple and I used my shoes and accessory as my statement pieces.

Ah, haha. I was the same way when it came to schoolwork: put it off until the very last moment. Just had the hardest time getting started, but once I finally did, things were smooth sailing. Maybe some of us just work best when additional pressure is added. Yeah, I'm sure that's it. ;)
