It's one of those outfit posts when I had to over-do it. Summer is and has been a season of colors both pale (pastels) and bright; and a time to be fun, carefree and bold about wearing loud and clashing prints. So far, I haven't been as crazy or as fearless in wearing these trends because of my affinity for anything monochromatic especially black.
Now that it has been raining lately and the golden sunlight has been elusive which makes outfit photos such a grim, I realized that summer has passed without me taking that chance to just let loose and wear colorful ensembles with hardly any black at all (oops except for the boots, haha).
As I bid summer goodbye, this outfit post is sort of my last hurrah to the occasionally depressing yet totally enlightening and blessed first half of my year.
One of my mid year resolutions? A good skin care regimen. Would you believe I don't have any? My skin has been at its ugliest condition recently because I don't do anything to improve it. That's how lazy I am (boo, haha)! Starting this second half of 2012, I'll really try my hardest to give my skin the TLC it deserves. Plus, I need to study on how to apply bongga make-up and lose some of those pounds that I have incredibly gained, haha!
Friendship bracelets c/o Tomato | Color cuffs w/ studds c/o Mauve | Turquoise beaded skull bangle F-STOP
H&M thin bangle set c/o Gifts Ahoy | Hot pink wooden bangle + rings Random
As you can see, I excessorized nang bonggang-bongga (to the max)! It's too much, I know that but people can put me on a fashion police list for all I care. There are far more issues in the world than what others are wearing. Simply look at Lady Gaga or Nicki Minaj, kebs lang diba?
I'm not sure if you've read my comeback blog entry, but I said there before that I'm no longer a blogger, just a person writing on my own personal space, hoping to be able to relate and identify with regular girls like me. Since I made this personal decision, it has never felt this right. Will talk more about that on my upcoming posts. For now, here's something easy to digest, haha.
P.S. Nakakainis lang, ang bilis ng panahon. It's Thursday and two more weeks to go, it's June again! Gaaahd, time flies really, really fast. Anyway, see you at Bloggers United Bazaar 3!
