Excited much for Bloggers United (Part 2)!

8:32 PM

Time management and juggling several tasks altogether are some of the things that I'm not very good at. For that, there are times when I'm too hard on myself because I've always felt that I can still push myself to do more, only to get upset when I feel like I don't meet my own expectations.

Everyday, I have a long list of things to do and I hate how days and time seem to pass by very quickly without me realizing it. As much as I try to keep up with the hours, I can't run after it. There are only a couple of things that I can truly achieve in one day.

Don't you feel the same way with yourself? Me, instead of kicking myself when I tend to fall short, I just keep on going. It's because I always tell myself that there's no where else to go but forward since going back isn't an option. (Tama naman diba?)

I find it really admirable when other people seem to be doing so well despite all of the things on their plate. I can't avoid comparing myself with them, but I refuse to feel defeated anymore. The achievements of others make me motivated instead of jealous. Negative competition and focusing on what others are doing will only keep me from eyeing on my goals.

These days, some of the things that have been taking my time away from blogging are my shop, my sidelines, studies and a couple of extra curricular activities. Anyway, here are a few updates that I want to share with you.

I'm going to start with one of the most exciting news that I have in the bag. Bloggers United Bazaar Part 2 is officially making a good progress! I'm so happy that we've finally made a jump start from our quick break. I've finished making the marketing materials, corresponded with the participating bloggers and have attended two important meetings so far.

We recently met up with GMA Kapuso Foundation representatives, our next beneficiary for this event. The agenda revolved around the different ways in which our team can contribute to their foundation especially in their School Building Project. As early as now, we've been entertaining the idea of including celebrities in our Part 3 event (wishful thinking)!

I also can't wait to work with Multiply! Through Bloggers United, Multiply aims to further promote its marketplace and new selling system. I've actually converted a few of my albums in my shop F-STOP (Fashion Stop) into product listings through the latest e-commerce feature.Link
For the next months before December, we just need to work really hard on marketing to our sponsors before concentrating on logistics. Curious when exactly the next BU Bazaar is? Don't miss the first week for your early Christmas shopping!

I'm also overseeing the construction of an all-new and better BU website in collaboration with Alex of Reluctant Stylista! I'm itching to move to the new site! I'm fine with our blog on blogspot but we really have to take the next step and improve it further. I badly want to move now since I'm partly upset that our images are now deleted from the site (check it out here). We requested Kisty to host the images for us but I don't know, maybe she removed it accidentally or something.

If you want to be a part of the website that we're building as a contributor or guest blogger for topics about fashion, shopping, beauty and events, feel free to e-mail me and be a part of Bloggers United's growing team! We can only accommodate limited slots so even though we would love everyone to participate, we will have a screening process to be more organized in choosing the contributors. :)

Oh my gahd! I'm soooo excited!! But buh-bye for now! Need to read for school (shucks)!
